Dec. 3

The Lady Saints got the night started, firing on all cylinders against Hampshire College. CSJ kept it rolling throughout the entire game, ending with four players scoring into double digits.

Mookie Kennedy led the way, scoring 22 points and shooting over 50 percent from the field. Arreonte Anderson filled up the stat sheet, scoring 21 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and stealing the ball 5 times from the opponent. Regina Steele and Jazz Laracuente scored 14 and 13 points, respectively.

The men’s basketball team picked up where the women’s team left off, defeating Hampshire with a final score of 99-49. The Saints had five players score in double digits and three of those players came off the bench.

Travis Threewitts had a breakout performance off the bench and was certainly the player of the game. He was everywhere on the court, accumulating 22 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 8 steals, and doing all of that in just 25 minutes of play.

Jallah Tarver also had a huge game for the Saints. He ended the game with 18 points, 9 boards, 4 assists, and 5 steals. He was also extremely efficient, shooting 67 percent from the field.

The Saints proved to be way too much for Hampshire College to deal with. They dominated in every facet of the game and never took their foot off the gas.

Both teams get back into action when they host conference opponent NHTI on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
