On Sunday morning, Nov. 15, skiers and riders were treated to beautiful weather and incredible albeit man-made snow. Hundreds of cars filled the parking lot at K1 as eager snowsports athletes converged on the mountain. Unfortunately, an electrical problem midday meant that the resort had to suspend afternoon operations. All was in working order by Monday morning and the resort plans to offer skiing and riding daily at North Ridge for as long as conditions allow.
