Learn about the majestic world of falcons at VINS, during a day of appreciation on Nov. 21.
Saturday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. — QUECHEE — The Vermont Institute of Natural Science will celebrate the fascinating world of falcons on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Discover these magnificent birds and the adaptations that make them the jet fighters of the bird world. From the fastest animal on earth to one of the most colorful raptors, explore this marvelous group of birds. You may even meet one up close.
Throughout the day there will be regularly scheduled raptor programs, featuring VINS’ resident falcon, as well as activities, games and crafts. VINS will also be showing a documentary film related to falcons.
Admission to the Nature Center is $13.50 for adults; $12.50 for seniors, 62 and over; $11.50 for youth, ages 4 to 17; and free for members and for children, 3 and under.
