Nov. 20-21 — RUTLAND — On Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Mount Saint Joseph Academy’s drama troupe will present the play “110 Stories.” The play centers on the experience of first responders and others who witnessed the events of Sept. 11 first hand.
The event will take place at MSJ’s Bagley Theatre at 127 Convent Avenue in Rutland. Admission will be $6 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. EMTs, firefighters, and police officers who show their credentials at the door will be admitted free as a way of saying “thank you” for all that they do for our community.
MSJ has a storied drama program. Nineteen MSJ one-act plays have been fortunate enough to advance to the state drama festival. MSJ alumni have gone on to participate as actors, writers, and producers in the film and television industries.
The Mount has a long tradition of students who both excel academically and participate in drama and sports. It also has a record of 98 percent of its students being accepted and going on to college in the past several years.
