Saturday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. — RUTLAND — Once again the annual dressing-up-in-costume kind of fun run/walk, the Halloween 5K will take place on Saturday, Oct. 31 in downtown Rutland. This spirited 5K is more about fun than frights and is all about having a wicked good time, open to all ages. “Best Costume” prizes will be awarded to the top male and top female participant. Grab the family, don costumes and lace up running shoes for this festive frolic through Rutland City.
The race starts and ends at the BROC parking lot downtown next to the train station. Registration starts at 9:15 a.m. with the race starting at 10 a.m. The fee is $5 for pre-registering at rutlandrec.com/races or $10 on race day.
