Local artist presents “Caravans to Enlightenment” exhibit
Thursday, Oct. 22 at 12:30 p.m. — CASTLETON — The Christine Price Gallery at Castleton University will feature the works of local artist Jim Hagan running from Oct. 12 through Nov. 24, with an artist reception scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22 at 12:30 p.m.
Entitled “Caravans to Enlightenment,” the exhibit will feature a variety of Asian themed photography displays.
“Over the last 43 years I have had the great privilege to visit, research, explore, and photo-document many of Asia’s masterpieces of Buddhist sacred art and architecture,” said Hagan. “This photo exhibit it the result of an enormous passion and appreciation for Asian art and culture that began in 1973 as a young traveler with a backpack filled with a camera, film and lots of dreams.”
The Christine Price Gallery is located in the Fine Arts Center on the Castleton University campus and is open Monday through Friday with hours of operation from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
