Oct. 17-18 — CASTLETON — Come out and join the freeze-out in support of homeless veterans from 4 p.m., Oct. 17 to 11 a.m., Oct. 18 at American Legion Post 50, Route 4A, Castleton. Supporters will be sleeping outside the Post on the back lawn to shine a light on the plight of far too many Brothers and Sisters in Arms. The Castleton American Legion will be holding its monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast for $9 on the morning of the 18th. Come join, bring a sleeping bag and stay for breakfast.
Please bring new or gently used cold weather wear: coats, boots, socks, hats, gloves, blankets, sleeping bags, etc., as donations for those in need. Cash donations are also welcomed.
