Arlo Guthrie wows Paramount crowd

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, Arlo Guthrie played to a nearly full house at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Rutland. Guthrie is on tour for the 50th anniversary of “Alice’s Restaurant.” His daughter, Sarah Lee, played as the opening performer. Guthrie performed much of the set unplugged with exception of his “Alice’s Restaurant” rendition, complete with the original video produced after it was originally released.
