SANTA MAMBA

Saturday, Sept. 5 at 3:30 p.m. — KILLINGTON — Santa Mamba returns to perform at Killington Resort on Saturday, Sept. 5 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The free concert is the final installment of the Town of Killington’s Cooler in the Mountains summer concert series, presented by Long Trail Brewing Co.

Santa Mamba is best described as a fusion of various musical styles and personalities. Rock, salsa, reggaeton, funk, bachata, disco, bolero…all of these elements can be found in Santa Mamba’s unique Latin Rock sound. Santa Mamba is radically different than your typical Latin group. Formed in the small state of Rhode Island, members of the band come from diverse backgrounds, from small American towns, to Latin American nations. The members have little in common, except for the fact that each and every one of them was born with a passion for music. Together, they share what each has learned from a life of loving and studying music. Santa Mamba strives to create an experience for fans and was recently nominated as “Live Act of the Year” in the 2015 New England Music Awards. Between the band’s 2012 studio album “Mother Culture” and their high energy shows that are sure to ignite dance floors, Santa Mamba has gained a loyal multi-cultural following throughout the country and beyond.

Cooler in the Mountains concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn blankets and chairs to enjoy the scenic views. The events also feature specialty Long Trail beer tastings, lawn games, and outdoor fun. All in attendance will have a final chance to win a 2015-2016 Killington Season Pass, which will be given away at the conclusion of the concert series. The winner will be announced the following week.
