LIVE AT THE FILLMORE
Saturday, Aug. 29 at 3:30 p.m. — KILLINGTON — Live at the Fillmore will return to perform for a second consecutive year at the Killington Resort on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The free show at Killington Resort’s K-1 Base Area is part of the Town of Killington’s Cooler in the Mountains summer concert series, presented by Long Trail Brewing.
Musically and sonically, Live at the Fillmore creates the unique experience of hearing one of the greatest live bands of all times, the Allman Brothers. The band offers an exact reproduction of the live performances featuring Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, and Berry Oakley as they sounded from 1969 to 1971, particularly at their monumental shows at Bill Graham’s Fillmore East Auditorium in New York City. Live at the Fillmore continues rocking crowds across the country, keeping this authentic sound alive despite the Allman Brothers giving their final performances at the Beacon Theatre this past October.
Cooler in the Mountains performances are free and open to all ages, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn blankets and chairs to enjoy the scenic views. The events also features a Long Trail beer tap takeover, lawn games and outdoor fun. Plus all in attendance will have the chance to win a 2015-2016 Killington Season Pass, which will be given away at the conclusion of the concert series.
