Killington Rec to host first annual duathlon over Labor Day weekend

KILLINGTON — Killington Parks and Recreation Department recently announce that it will host its first annual duathlon for adults and kids at the Killington Town Recreation facilities on 2706 River Road Sunday, Sept. 6 beginning at 9 a.m. Rain day will be Monday, Sept. 7 (Labor Day).

This event will be timed by stopwatches and participants will have two levels to choose from: Level 1 participants will swim 100 yards (four laps in the pool) and run 1 mile. Level 2 participants will swim 500 yards (20 laps) and run 5k (3.1 miles).
