Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 5 p.m. — ROCHESTER — Pierce Hall Community Center in Rochester will be holding Creative Pre-ballet classes starting Tuesday, Aug. 11 for ages 3 to 5. The session is a five-week program being held Tuesdays, from 5 to 6 p.m. The cost is $8 per class.
Children will be introduced to the joy of music and motion with contemporary sing-a-long music, as well as age-appropriate classical ballet favorites. An introduction to ballet terminology and counting music will be mixed with creative improvisation and simple choreography for a fun and energetic class designed to capture children’s imagination and ignite a love for dance and movement.
