Saturday, July 4 — BELMONT — Mount Holly Library’s Independence Day book sale is Saturday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Close to a thousand books are available for purchase. There is a particularly large selection of kid’s books, an outstanding collection of adult non-fiction and the usual terrific selection of fiction. Donations continue to pour in so you never know what special book you may find. Don’t miss out on great books at great prices for a great cause. Also on Saturday is the annual parade at 11 a.m. Mount Holly’s 4th of July parade is an example of America’s small town traditions at their best. The Odd Fellows will barbecue chicken.
