Mogul’s pig roast raises $1,000 for Meals on Wheels

KILLINGTON — On Thursday, June 4, Robert “Sal” Salmeri, owner of Mogul’s Sports Pub, presented Mark Scott and Doug Jones from Meals on Wheels of Rutland County with a $1,000 check from the 20th annual Mogul’s Sports Pub pig roast and charity fundraiser that took place on Sunday, April 19. Also pictured is Courtney Anderson Community Services Manager from The Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging. Sal Salmeri and his wife Maggie believe “Meals on Wheels is very important in our community and there is a big need out there for meals. It is also important to keep Meals on Wheels in the public’s mind to raise more awareness.”
