RUTLAND — The Rutland Regional Chamber of Commerce welcomed members to the Rutland Southern Vermont Regional Airport on Tuesday, June 9, at noon to welcome Altius Aviation and learn about the new scheduled service proposed to fly from Rutland to White Plains, N.Y.(Westchester County Airport, a short distance from New York City).
Altius Aviation representatives will be on hand to answer questions and there was a static 9-passenger aircraft on display, similar to the one they propose using for the flights. The service could begin as soon as this summer.
