Saturday, June 20 at 10 a.m. — WOODSTOCK — On Saturday, June 20t from 10-11:30 a.m., Juneberry Music will be offering singing for fun and for individual and community wellness at Woodstock’s Norman Williams Public Library. The Woodstock community sing will be the first of the series held on Saturdays in various Upper Valley locations. Singers may join one or all seven. No prior experience or exceptional singing ability is necessary. Singles, couples and families are welcome. Following the sing, the group may choose to flash a local business with one of the songs learned that morning.
Led by Patricia Norton, an hour and a half of singing eclectic repertoire will set your weekend rolling in the right direction. Benefits of singing include improved health, release of “feel good” chemicals and a brain workout — not to mention fun and good vibrations! Some of the songs taught will be ones that can be sung in the car, with the family, in the shower… and always something unexpected!
No pre-registration is necessary. Show up a little before 10 a.m., sign-in, make a donation, sing, laugh, experience some serious surround sound, leave at 11:30 a.m.
Norman Williams Public Library is located at 10 the Green, Woodstock. For more info, visit www.juneberrymusic.com.
