June 13-14 — HUBBARDTON — The Hubbardton Battlefield State Historic Site in Hubbardton offers two special programs for Vermont Days Weekend, June 13 and 14, when admission to all Vermont State Historic Sites and day use State Parks is free.
On Saturday, June 13 from 1-3 p.m., children and the young at heart are invited to create and decorate scrapbooks and journals to record their family history.
On Sunday, June 14, also from 1-3 p.m., celebrate Flag Day. Site interpreter Carl Fuller will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and give a short illustrated program on the evolution and history of the American flag, followed by flag activities for children.
