In only it’s second year the Killington Downhill Throwdown moved from August to June 6-8th, because of the date charge it allowed more world class competitors to qualify for the World Cup Event at Burke Mountain this coming week. Close to 75 registered to race between Street Luge and Longboard Riders. Saturday was all about the Drift trikes as they held their Le Mans style race and best of the top 64. The event was shorten because of a thunderstorm threat for Monday. Injuries were few despite the high rates of speed and adverse turning and braking. Racing action was held up only once for an injured long boarder during a heat of the first bracket on Sunday.
