Kids get hands-on experience with science experiments and investigations that engage the mind.
Sunday, June 7 — QUECHEE — The Vermont Institute of Natural Science presents “Discovery Sundays” from 12-4 p.m. every Sunday through the end of October. Join one of the VINS educators to create, discover, imagine and have fun. Explore the world through engaging, hands-on science experiments and investigations for inquisitive minds of of all ages. From wheels, towers and magnets to feathers, water and bubbles, delve into the world of science, technology, engineering and math. June’s schedule is as follows:
June 7 – Black Magic: Uncover the secrets hidden in black ink; June 14 – Feel the Force: Discover the force of air pressure; June 21t – Sound Science: What’s making that noise?; and June 28 – On the Move: Make your own wheels that move.
All activities are included with price of admission to the Nature Center which is $13.50 for adults; $12.50 for students and for seniors 62 and over; $11.50 for youth ages 4 to 17; and free for members and for children 3 and under.
