Wednesday, June 10 at 12 p.m. — RUTLAND — Evolve Rutland, an organization that presents networking luncheons featuring women leaders, holds its next event on Wednesday, June 10 at Castleton Downtown, in the Opera House on Merchants Row, Rutland. The keynote speaker will be Rose Kennedy, State’s Attorney, Rutland. Network, meet and greet with fellow women in the business community from 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. then hear Kennedy speak from 12-1 p.m. This exciting luncheon program will highlight the challenges and accomplishments in the office of the State’s Attorney.
Following the keynote will be a workshop that addresses one of the issues identified in Evolve Rutland focus groups; how to effectively resolve conflict in professional settings with Lyn Huntoon, from 1-3 p.m. Conflict is a part of life. This workshop will teach skills to survive, even thrive through challenging situations. Understand why conflict exists and how an individual’s role in it can lead to a positive outcome. Learn personal conflict style, understand barriers to effective communication and discover ways to engage in conflict with more confidence, insight and creativity. Walk away with tools that can be applied immediately to every aspect of life, personal and professional.
