Rutland Italian American Club announces scholarship awards given to local students

Scholarships were awarded during an Italian-American Club dinner on April 29.  Ian Dansereau, Catherine DiPalma, Sarah Harvey, and Morgan Howard were in attendance. RUTLAND — The Rutland Italian-American Club (IAC) is proud to announce the 2015 winners of six $1,000 scholarships for secondary education to area graduating seniors. This year, scholarships were awarded to Catherine DiPalma from Rutland High School, Eric DeBlasio from Mount Saint Joseph Academy, and Ian Dansereau from Mill River Union High School. Also, two scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors from a Rutland County High School other than RHS, MSJ, or MRUHS: Morgan Howard from Proctor High School and Vincent Zhang from Fair Haven Union High School. Finally, the John Renzoni Scholarship, given to a senior who is a relative of an IAC member, was awarded to Sarah Harvey of Mount Saint Joseph Academy.
