Friday, May 1 at 5:45 p.m. — WELLS — The Wells United Methodist Church Ladies Aid presents a giant teacup auction on Friday, May 1. Viewing and bidding starts at 5:45 p.m. with drawings starting at 6:45 p.m.
There will be hundreds of items! On 25 tables of collectibles will be items including jewelry, knick knacks, household, personal care, cereals, books, videos, puzzles, games, crafts, baskets and house plants, plus three tables of home baked goodies including breads, pies, cakes, brownies, cookies, cupcakes and more.
Envelopes of 10 tickets cost $1; place your tickets in a cup next to your choices. The winning ticket is drawn from all tickets in each cup. There’s a chance for everybody to win something!
Free, light refreshments will be served, and door prizes will be given. Also at the event will be a super tomato plant sale outside from 5:30-7 p.m.
