Thursday, April 9 at 7 p.m. — ROCHESTER — Bo Muller-Moore, creator of “Eat More Kale” t-shirts and bumper stickers, will be telling his story on Thursday, April 9 at 7 p.m. at the Rochester Public Library.
Bo Muller-Moore stood up to corporate America and won when many before him had backed down. His iconic “Eat More Kale” t-shirts and bumper stickers had made him famous in Vermont but he became nothing less than a folk hero after refusing to surrender his shirts and his livelihood to Chick-fil-A.
Governor Peter Shumlin held a press conference to explain to Chick-fil-A and the world the distinct differences between kale and chicken and demanded the company stop harassing Vermont businesses.
Thanks to Senator Leahy, the Commerce Department is studying how big businesses use trademark laws to bully small ones.
Now, officially trademarked, “Eat More Kale” is a story of one defiant dude.
