Following the recent success of the fall event, Hops in the Hills, Okemo Mountain presents Hops on the Snow beerfest, for snow and beer lovers alike.
Saturday, March 28 at 11 a.m. — LUDLOW — Based on the overwhelming success of its three-day summer beer festival, Okemo Mountain Resort is introducing its inaugural one-day winter beer celebration. Hops on the Snow will take place in the Jackson Gore Inn courtyard from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 28.
“Vermont is Mecca for skiing and snowboarding beer aficionados,” said Okemo Mountain Resort Events Manager Dennis Brady. “What better way to combine the two than by inviting our skiing and riding guests to enjoy beautiful spring conditions on the hill in the morning, then quenching their thirst by sampling a few brews in the afternoon?”
Admission to Hops on the Snow is free and open to the public aged 21 and older (attendees must present valid ID) and will feature 10 new seasonal brews for sampling. Pricing for the beer tasting is $15, which includes a souvenir six ounce glass and four samples. Additional sample tickets will be priced at $3 each. Glasses and tickets will be sold at event.
In addition to the regional brews, Okemo will be serving up fresh-from-the-grill fare and delicious barbecue favorites. Music will be provided by Beatles tribute band Studio Two.
