Billings Farm & Museum’s film takes explorer on epic journey to Patagonia

Saturday, March 14 at 3 p.m. — WOODSTOCK — Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont’s rural heritage, will host the film “180 Degrees South: Conquerors of the Useless” on Saturday, March 14 at 3 p.m. as part of the 5th Annual Woodstock Vermont Film Series.

“180 Degrees South: Conquerors of the Useless” follows surfer/rock climber/photographer Jeff Johnson as he retraces the epic 1968 sailing/climbing expedition of his heroes Yvon Chouinard (founder of the outdoor apparel company, Patagonia) and Doug Tompkins from California to the tallest mountain in Chilean Patagonia. The film is rated PG.

Tickets prices for members: adults 16 and up, $9 per film; children 3-15, $5 per film. Prices for non-members: adults 16 and up, $11 per film; children 3-15, $6 per film.
