Four $500 scholarships to be awarded
CASTLETON – Castleton College, in partnership with Vermont PBS, invites Vermont high school students to participate in the 20th annual Castleton Videofest.
High School students throughout Vermont and the surrounding area are encouraged to submit DVDs in any of four categories: documentary, experimental/animation, narrative fiction, and public service announcements/advertisements.
Scholarships of $500 will be awarded for first place in each category. Video professionals will judge the entries on creativity, content, and execution.
Submissions must be postmarked by April 21. A public screening of the winning videos and an award ceremony will be held at Castleton College on Friday, May 1.
