WEST RUTLAND — The countdown is on for the 2015 Marble Mardi Gras at the Rutland Country Club, March 7 at 5:30 p.m. Each year, the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center hosts the fundraising event in time to be a great cure for the winter blahs. The gala features cocktails and a silent and live auction with Bobby Prozzo, as well as a sumptuous dinner followed by dancing with live music by “Blue Jay Way.” A wide variety of items is offered, ranging from dining experiences and fine arts and crafts to vacation getaways, retail and service gift certificates and sports and fitness opportunities.
