Peak engagement

KILLINGTON — Christine Gordon of Northfield, N.J., and Truman C. Lane of Buena, N.J., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelli M. Lane of Timberville, Va., to Jacob S. Stover, son of Christopher and Barbara Stover of Broadway, Va. A September wedding is planned in Outer Banks, N.C.

The top of Pico Peak was the perfect setting for their surprise engagement, Sunday, Jan. 25.

The bride-to-be has skied Pico her whole life, being taught by her grandmother Gwen, who at 87 still skis Pico.

Lane and groom-to-be Jake Stover are graduates of Shenandoah University and work in the Broadway, Va., area.
