Saturday, Feb. 14 at 6:15 p.m. — PROCTOR — The Proctor High School class of 2020 is hosting a Valentines Day Luminaria Lighting event at the Proctor Skating Rink on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 6:15 – 8:45 p.m.
Community members are invited to purchase a luminaria, which they can dedicate in memory or in honor of a loved one or friend who has passed on. Materials will be available to decorate the luminarias at the rink between 6:15 – 6:45 p.m. Luminarias will be lit, and placed around the rink for a moment of silence, followed by skating until 8:45 p.m. Refreshments will be available at the rink.
Luminarias can be reserved for $3 each or two for $5 by contacting a Proctor High School seventh grade student or by calling Proctor High School at 802-459-3353 ext. 2126/2123. Luminarias will also be available at the Proctor Skating Rink on Feb. 14. Students will decorate and light a luminaria on one’s behalf if one is unable to attend.
