Sunday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. — RUTLAND — The Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum will reopen to the public at its new location, 11 Center Street in Rutland, on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 1 – 4 p.m. In addition to the new space, the museum will also be expanding the hours it is open to the public. The Museum’s new hours will be Sunday 1 – 4 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Museum Director Myra Peffer said, “It is so wonderful to see the public support for this museum and the hard work happening to reopen the doors! We appreciate all of our benefactors who have contributed and we are grateful to the city of Rutland for its substantial gift. We look forward to serving the community with more open hours, great new exhibits and expanded programs. I’m anxious to see children and families learning and playing together in this amazing new space!”
Admission to the museum is $5 per person for ages 1-64, $4 per person for seniors age 65+, $2 per person with a valid EBT card and ID, and no charge for members and children under 12 months. Memberships are available for purchase.
Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum encourages children to appreciate their role in local and global communities by creating a dynamic environment which fosters curiosity, inspires exploration and engages the imagination through play.
