Thursday, Jan. 15 at 8 p.m. — KILLINGTON — Rock and roll band Sparks the Rescue will appear in concert on Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Pickle Barrel Nightclub in Killington. The show is open to anyone 21 years of age and older.
This high-energy group crosses a multitude of musical genres including alternative, pop, punk, pop-rock and post-hardcore. Emerging from Portland, ME with debut album “Eyes To The Sun” in 2009, the band’s playful pop-rock made them a fan favorite as they toured with the likes of Mayday Parade and The All-American Rejects, scoring music cues on MTV’s “Real World: Cancun,” and winning MTV / Garnier’s “I Want My Music On MTV” competition.
With five original studio albums under their belt and seven years of extensive touring throughout the U.S. and Europe, the band is focused on entertaining music lovers around the world. Their set list contains over 200 cover songs ranging from the sixties to today’s modern music. From dive bars to honky-tonks, to beaches and weddings, Sparks the Rescue brings the party anywhere they go, and guarantees a good time.
