Saturday, Jan. 17 at 9:45 a.m. — KILLINGTON — Mini Shred Madness returns to Killington Resort on Saturday, Jan. 17. This one is for the groms!
Join the excitement in the Easy Street Terrain Park on Ramshead Mountain and compete for prizes in a friendly and fun environment. Grom skiers and snowboarders age 13 years and under will get a feel for park riding and experience the rules and navigation of the park. Mini Shred Madness is all about having fun in a competition setting. There will be Killington Park team riders cruising through the event offering help and motivation to participants. Not to mention, all sorts of free giveaways being handed out at the event to competitors.
There are two divisions for this competition: Super Grom Division is ages 9 and under, first time park riders. Grom division is for ages 10-13 who have park-riding experience. Both male and female contestants are up for the bragging rights!
Registration takes place from 9 – 10 a.m. on the second floor of the Ramshead Lodge. All participants of Mini Shred Madness must fill out an Express Assumption of Risk form and have a parent/guardian sign it. Competition runs from 9:45 – 11:30 a.m. in Easy Street Terrain Park, with awards to follow at 11:55 a.m.
The next Mini Shred Madness event will be Feb. 21 at Pico Mountain, in Triple Slope Park.
