RUTLAND–On Friday, Oct. 24, AdviCoach®, a nationwide small-business coaching and advisory service, named as its 2014 Client of the Year Rob Stubbins Electrical & General Contractor of Rutland Town. Recognizing businesses for outstanding financial and expansion achievements during the past year, the award acknowledges Stubbins’ excellent ability to maintain strong customer relationships while growing its residential and commercial business.
“We were surprised when Hannah told us the good news. It made us feel that we are doing things right. We are really good at being electricians and now we are getting even better at running the business,” stated Robbie Stubbins. Added Rob Stubbins, Sr., “I’m really proud of how much we’ve grown the business. We now have a team of eight and are looking to bring on more technicians. I’m excited about the opportunities.”
Stubbins has been working with consultant Hannah Abrams since May of 2013.
Through a supportive and committed partnership with business owners, Abrams works with clients to assess their performance in critical areas, then provides “Rapid Impact Strategies” specifically designed to support growth, overcome obstacles, improve productivity and drive immediate results.
“I love what I do and I love Vermont,” says Abrams. “The combination of helping business owners improve their business, in turn, improves their lives and enriches our area and state. Owning a business can be lonely and challenging. The owner doesn’t always have someone to directly help him or her to increase profits, help the team work better together and assist the owner to get back to doing the work he or she loves. I’m so proud that a Rutland-based business has won a national award. It’s good for the company, our region and the state of Vermont.”
“Hannah Abrams has been a strong, consistent leader in our system,” said Terry Powell, founder of AdviCoach. “This acknowledgement for her client is well-deserved.”
