Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. — CASTLETON — Castleton presents the musical talents of Turtle Island String Quartet on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Casella Theater.
Two time Grammy Award winners, Turtle Island fuses the classical quartet aesthetic with contemporary American musical styles, forever seeking to break new ground, which is something they celebrate in their latest program, Birth of the Cool.
Since its inception in 1985, the Quartet has been a singular force in the creation of bold, new trends in chamber music for strings.
