Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. — KILLINGTON — The Sherburne Women’s Club (SWC) will host this year’s kick off event, Meet Your Neighbor Night, at the home of Ann Eckler at the Trailside Inn on Coffeehouse Road in Killington. Meet Your Neighbor Night is a great opportunity to meet new connections, catch up with friends after a busy summer, and share ideas with Board members. SWC welcomes new members to join during this event. If you know someone who is new to the community, please invite them along. Everyone is welcome! Refreshments will be served.
Annual dues can be paid at Meet Your Neighbor Night. Fundraising efforts will begin with members making a choice of a Gold ($50), Silver ($35) or Bronze ($20) membership. The monies raised continue to fund a wide variety of local charities. In its 50+ year history, the club has donated over $100,000 to the community through scholarships for local students and support for community organizations including the Killington Elementary School, the Sherburne Library, Killington Recreation Department, Killington Arts Guild and Killington Active Seniors.
