Even if you’re pretty sure the mud and mountains aren’t for you, you don’t have to miss out! Watch the race Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20-21 from four “spectator locations:” the K-1 deck, the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bars, the Snowshed area and the Snowshed Pond.
Spectators will be charged $25 at door, cash only (or $20 in advanced if purchased online). Parking is an additional $10, cash only.
All spectators must have a spectator ticket to access the races. Spartan Race spectators will receive $5 Spartan bucks redeemable at the merchandise tent, entry to the festival area, a festival map, access to some of the obstacles on course, not to mention the epic Gladiator Pit and finish line.
Enjoy the music and watch your friends and loved ones slip and slide through the Spartan course, in the safety and comfort of the Spartan Race festival ground areas! Raffles, entertainment, spectator challenges, free muddy hugs from Spartan athletes, and all the other festival perks make this entry price truly worth it!
Outside food and drink, coolers and tents are not allowed. You are welcome to bring a folding chair, backpack, etc.
All spectators must sign an event waiver.

Volunteers needed
The Reebok Spartan Race needs your help! All volunteers will get a free race, free lunch and drinks, free parking, festival entry, and a volunteer T-shirt. Volunteers are needed for various tasks in half and full-day shifts.
Volunteer opportunities are available from Sunday, Sept. 14 through Wednesday, Sept. 24.
The Killington Chamber of Commerce reminders every Merchant Pass holder that they must complete eight volunteer hours. If hours from the past season were not completed individuals will NOT be eligible to receive a Merchant Pass for the 2014/2015 season.
Preparation
Those who volunteered starting Sunday, Sept. 14, helped to build the course by unloading trucks, assisting with building obstacles, painting, and marking the course. Course building continues through, Friday, Sept. 19, 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Starting Wednesday, Sept. 17, volunteers are needed for the festival set up. Festival set-up volunteers work closely with the festival management team setting up fencing, organizing merchandise, unloading trucks, and putting up signs before the race. Festival set up continues through Friday, Sept. 19, 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Race days
On race days Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20-21, course volunteers will work closely with course staff enforcing and resetting obstacles, reporting injuries, and serving as “eyes and ears” on the course.
On Saturday, Sept. 20, the half-day course shift is from 6 a.m.-2 p.m., full-day is 6 a.m. -10 p.m.
On Sunday, Sept. 21, the Ultrabeast shift is from 4 a.m.-2 p.m., the half-day shift is from 6 a.m.-2 p.m., full-day is 6 a.m. -10 p.m.
Also on race days, festival volunteers are needed at the finish line (to hand out water and medals, t-shirts, and to retrieve chips), at the start corral, at the festival challenges, showers, shoe drop, and other festival operations. The half-day festival shift is 6 a.m.-2 p.m., the full-day is 6 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Post-race breakdown
Monday through Wednesday, Sept. 22-24, volunteers are needed to help with course load out, breaking down, cleaning up, and loading the trucks, 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
