OVGC ladies’ championship held

LUDLOW – On Sept. 6 and 7, Okemo Valley Golf Club hosted its annual Ladies’ Club Championship. The format was individual stroke play on 36 holes. Taking control on Saturday afternoon was Harriet Parot, who carded a first round 87  in the challenging conditions. She was followed by Darlene Remy and Rosemary Burns. Both shot 96. On Sunday’s round, Parot carded a second round 85 for a two-day total of 172 and once again became the Club Champion. Rosemary Burns fired a 90 in her second round to grab the Senior Championship. Winning the net division for the weekend was Peg Margiotta with a net two-day total of 141. For more information about Okemo Valley Golf Club, please visit okemo.com.
