Sunday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m. — RUTLAND — Please join the Rutland County Democrats at the grand opening of the downtown Rutland headquarters on Sunday, Sept. 7 from 3-5 p.m., where Governor Shumlin will be the speaker. The location of the former Book King on 11 Center Street will be the site of the fall election activities. Naturally, a great location is important as headquarters, but it is only successful when there are people inside: great volunteers! The Rutland County Democrats will need lots of folks to give some time as callers, data enterers, greeters, and even guides for candidates.
