If you like to hike, both the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail go through Killington. The Long Trailis the oldest long distance trail in the United States. Its 270 mile footpath follows the ridge of the Green Mountains from the Massachusetts border to the Canadian border and offers endless hiking opportunities for the day hiker, weekend overnighter, and extended backpacker.
