One half of the Kinds Buds, Bud will perform solo at the Clear River Tavern this Friday.

Friday, July 15 at 9 p.m. — PITTSFIELD — Join Kind Bud for an evening of acoustic original looping at the Clear River Tavern in Pittsfield on Friday, July 15 for a 9 p.m. show. One half of New England’s premier acoustic guitar jam duo the Kind Buds, Bud is eager to launch his new project: Kind Dubs.

Concert-goers may have seen the Kind Buds perform at Killington’s Dazed and Confused Fest in April.

Sam Cutler, former tour director of the Grateful Dead and Rolling Stones had this to say about the Kind Buds: “My earliest memories of the music I loved is that of the Everly Brothers. The Kind Buds remind me of them with their vocal harmonies and hot guitar licks. If I were at any younger I would manage them in a flat minute.”

Bringing to life the rich rhythms of his Koa Taylor guitar, Bud creates backing loops in the moment, which he then takes leads off of, making his guitar sing. If listeners closed their eyes they would think there were at least three guitars playing. One Kind Bud is better than none!
