Wednesday, July 23 at 5:30 p.m. — POULTNEY — Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) is excited to announce that Green Mountain College (GMC) will host VBSR’s next Networking Get-Together on July 23, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. VBSR members and friends are invited to attend the event held at GMC’s main campus in Poultney. Attendees will network with forward-thinking business professionals, enjoy the beautiful GMC campus, explore current sustainable business trends, and learn how GMC is paving the way for future generations of socially responsible business leaders.
“We’re thrilled that Green Mountain College is hosting this event,” said VBSR Development and Communications Manager. “GMC has been, and continues to be, a recognized leader in the world of sustainable business education. This event will give VBSR members a first-hand look into current trends in this area, while allowing them to network and do business with other professionals who value and implement similar practices.” Buckingham noted that there has been good buzz around the event and it’s guest presenter, Professor Karen Martinsen Fleming, a sustainable business strategy and marketing expert, as well as Director of GMC’s Sustainable MBA Program.
Buckingham noted that the event will also serve as a celebration for GMC, who recently announced the launch of their new Advanced Start Bachelor’s Program, Vermont’s most affordable bachelor’s degree completion program. The Networking Get-Together is free to attend and open to anyone interested in the triple-bottom-line approach to business. A cash bar and hors d’oeuvres will be provided by GMC.
