Riders line up at the start of a past year’s Farm to Fork Fondo ride. The 2016 event is this weekend in Pittsfield.

PITTSFIELD — Ride through Vermont’s Green Mountains and quaint villages on quiet meandering roads, and taste fresh and fantastic local foods—this is Vermont, the heart of the small farm movement.

Dubbed one of “7 Must-Do Events” by Road Bike Action Magazine, the Farm to Fork Fondo Vermont returns to Pittsfiled in Central Vermont July 16-17. It’s headquartered at Riverside Farm, Route 100 in Pittsfield, just 10 miles north of Killington.

See some farms and lovely views by bike. Wave to your friends. Cross the finish line. Relax and dine. Happy tummies ride local.

With the success of the 2015 Farm to Fork Fondo, this year’s event boasts even more updates and amenities, including:

Bigger festival, more farms, more aid stations, and more treats
