Expanded Bright Pink partnership and new event tour stops for 2016
The Dirty Girl Mud Run series will again join forces with Bright Pink, the longstanding national charity beneficiary, to launch their 2016 integrated marketing campaign, #FORTHEGIRLS. The focus will be to encourage participants to come together and raise funds for education and preventive actions to save lives from breast and ovarian cancer. Crowdrise, the world’s number one fundraising site for charitable causes, will serve as the fundraising platform, enabling Dirty Girls to reach out to their personal networks and accumulate contributions for the organization. The Dirty Girl Mud Run begins its sixth season on March 3 in San Antonio, Texas, with five new stops.
Dirty Girl Mud Run has vowed to match all donations dollar for dollar up to $50,000 for Bright Pink to hopefully inspire more participants to donate. Upon purchasing an event ticket, participants will be offered the opportunity to create a personalized individual or team fundraising page, where they can monitor their donation progress and compete in city-wide fundraising competitions at each event.
Lindsay Avner, Bright Pink Founder & CEO expressed her excitement, “The women we love deserve a brighter future free from breast and ovarian cancer. By rallying together and fundraising for Bright Pink, the Dirty Girl community has the power to save thousands of lives and truly change the odds.”
