PRESIDENT CALVIN COOLIDGE

Monday, Feb. 15 at 12 p.m. — PLYMOUTH — Coolidge Foundation program associate Rushad Thomas will bring the 1924 campaign to life in his talk at 2 p.m. on President’s Day, Feb. 15 at the President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site. Thomas’s talk will cover all the ins and outs of the 1924 presidential election, from swing states and campaign strategy, to the Democratic and Progressive contenders, to the Lincoln-Dawes campaign caravan across the nation. The Coolidge Museum and Education Center will be open from noon to 4 p.m. on this day, and 1924 campaign memorabilia will be on display. There’s no better way to honor President’s Day than to learn a bit more about Vermont’s favorite president, no. 30.

This Coolidge Foundation program is in partnership with the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation. The Coolidge Museum and Education Center is located on 3780 Route 100A in Plymouth. For more information, visit www.CoolidgeFoundation.org. The nearby Plymouth Cheese Factory is also open that day.
