Saturday, May 7 at 4:30 p.m. — RUTLAND — On, Saturday, May 7, the Chaffee Art Center will once again celebrate the Kentucky Derby fundraiser and the arts by hosting a derby party and auction from 4:30- to 7 p.m. at Southside Steakhouse, 170 South Main Street, Rutland. The event will feature live music by Moose Crossing, a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and the race streamed live on a big screen. Mark your calendars and prepare your derby hats for an afternoon of fun, spirits, and “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports!” Tickets are $50 per person, available online, on location, or by phone.
