Wells UMC holds giant tea cup auction

Friday, March 18 at 5 p.m. — WELLS — Coming this Friday, March 18 is the annual Giant Tea Cup Auction presented by the Wells United Methodist Church. An event benefiting the mission, the auction will have over 400 items of everything one can imagine: collectibles, knick-knacks, glass, jewelry, photos, personal items, cereals, plants, books, videos, as well as tables of baked goods. There will also be a small silent auction with maple products, jams, a new 8-piece set of dishes, a walker, a “Will Moses” print, and other interesting items.

Ticket price is $1 for ten tickets. Viewing and bidding starts at 5 p.m. with drawings starting at 6:30 p.m.

Don’t worry about dinner, as they will be serving hot dogs, chili dogs, maple baked beans, and ice cream sundaes.
