Wallingford Town Hall concert series presents Gypsy Reel

Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m.—WALLINGFORD—Wallingford Town Hall Concert Series will present Gypsy Reel. Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. Gypsy Reel is known for playing high energy stirring music rooted in the Celtic tradition, but garnered from the whole world. Based locally but performing worldwide, their music is an exciting synthesis of world rhythms and influences from three continents. 

The line-up includes talented banjoist and vocalist Claudine Langille, Graham Parker on fiddle, Camille Parker on mandolin and bodhran and singing in French and English, and Shrewsbury’s own vocalist and guitarist extraordinaire, Silas Hamilton. All concerts start at 7 p.m. with suggested donations of $10-$15/person with all proceeds going to musicians less 10% to the town. Mill River Union High School’s Interact Club will host a bake sale.

The town hall is located at 75 School Street in Wallingford.
