Vermont Studio Center virtual line up features programs for poetry month

Kontemporary Amerikan Poetry

The Vermont Studio Center virtual line-up for April includes special programming for National Poetry Month. Virtual VSC offers a rich variety of new on-line, readings, artist talks, book discussions, craft conversations and gallery shows. Virtual VSC is open to the public and engages an international community of artists and writers in a diversity of compelling, thought provoking online experiences designed to create meaningful connections and encourage creative exploration. Virtual events offered this week include:

Thursday, April 8, 7 p.m. – VSC book discussion: “Kontemporary Amerikan Poetry” by John Murillo. Join us for an engaging discussion about this award-winning poetry collection.

Friday, April 9, 8 p.m. – “Writer to Writer”: C. Dale Young & Angela Narciso Torres. A paired featured reading and conversation.

Monday, April 12, 7 p.m. – Virtual artist talk with Shervone Neckles.

Vermont Studio Center (VSC) honors creative work as the communication of spirit through form. VSC is rooted in Vermont and open to the world.
