Union Church of Proctor holds 47th holiday bazaar

Saturday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m.—PROCTOR—The 47th annual holiday bazaar of the Union Church of Proctor will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Union Church Parish House in Proctor. Get a start on holiday shopping with the selection of handcrafted gifts, Christmas ornaments and holiday items and help raise important funds to support work in the community at the same time.
There will be two full floors of treasures, including gift items in the Pink Pachyderm gift boutique. Deck the halls with unique decorated furniture, then deck yourself out from the dazzling array of contemporary and vintage pieces to be found in the expanded jewelry department.
Treat loved ones with delectable baked treats, jams, and pickles from the food sale, and search for treasures in the expanse of antiques, collectibles, and white elephants—midday will be the white elephant bag sale. After shopping, enjoy a luncheon of soups, sandwiches and desserts served by the junior wait staff.
All proceeds support the Union Church of Proctor and its work in the community. Its only major fundraiser, this annual event is successful because of the dedication of church members and friends who work all year long to create the items for sale and the generous support of customers who line up year after year for the first rush in the doors.
The Union Church Parish is located at 5 Church Street, Proctor. All levels are handicapped accessible from the rear parking lot entrance.
