The White River Valley Player present SummerNight

Saturday, July 18 at 4:30 p.m. — ROCHESTER — The White River Valley Players of Rochester present SummerNight on Saturday, July 18, 4:30-10 p.m. Have you ever attended a FirstNight Celebration? SummerNight is the same idea—offering many different performances at multiple venues of dance, music, poetry, art, and featuring the Burlington Taiko Drummers. Attend any or all of the performances for the price of one SummerNight button! All venues are within walking distance of each other.

The evening will begin on Rochester Park, Route 100, where the Baba Yagas will perform a free concert from the gazebo from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Area restaurants are offering special boxed dinners you may purchase and enjoy, so bring your blanket or chair and relax while listening to the Baba Yaga’s music. Performance schedules will be available on Rochester Park where buttons are sold on July 18. Simply choose a performance, walk to the venue, enjoy, then do it again with another, and another. To top off the evening, from 9 to 10 p.m., the Burlington Taiko Drummers will perform outside behind Rochester Elementary School under the stars. Bring your blanket or chair and enjoy this amazing group of drummers. Buttons are $15 per adult and $5 per child and are on sale at the White River Credit Union in Rochester, at Friday Farmer’s Markets on Rochester Park from 3 to 6:30 p.m., and also on July 18 on the Rochester Park starting at 4 p.m.
